It runs from Vammen a gravel road down to the sea, he is not the sea what we might prefer landlocked countries would but .... The lake is really beautiful. If you did not do better, then you would end up the feeling of nowhere. So it came to me at least at that time 1994.

Vammen Camping is something for the whole family and live music fans, but are adhoc concerts organized at the lake on the dock. There are animation programs such as rafting trips on the Langsoe or fun and games with children.
It is led by an exiled German and his native wife. There is a converted barn as a cozy restaurant where good is served, and every now and then a real Smörgasbord is built. That must have tried it! Equally fine are the warden himself smoked trout, I have never eaten better!
the horn is heard every morning of the camp warden and then you can order sandwiches in his small shop (which by the waiting woman herself be baked) for instance. Mmmmmmh ....
A shop for the most important is there and sometimes there is also the organic farmer and by selling his vegetables.
The campsite has a beautiful, flat sandy beach to the lake and it can be really good swim there.

trips can be made from there many that can be seen well on the home page of the campsite. A small suggestion here, Viborg itself is a very nice little town ... A stroll with a visit to the Cathedral, the newer murals has worth. If the children are Sunday school, they will know the biblical stories for sure now!
