Ingredients donuts with raisins:
• 1 kilo of wheat flour
• 1 liter of water
• 20 grams of salt
• 50 grams sugar
• 80 grams of fresh yeast (available at the bakery)
• 10 grams of cinnamon
• 5 grams of lemon zest

Preparation:
Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water and mix briefly. Add the flour and mix the batter briefly with a mixer on the lowest setting. (CAUTION: Never leave the salt in contact with the yeast!)
Finish filling by (raisins few hours to soak overnight in tepid water and drain before use) and let the batter 45 minutes (not less! ) in a warm place. Prevent dehydration by a wet towel over the bucket to submit. Remember the good rice batter, so use one large tub or bucket, the squeezing of the first donuts here in the tip bucket.

Spoon the batter with a ijsknijper in oil of 180 degrees. If you use a frying pan, set it at 190 degrees! Bake about 7 minutes. Use peanut oil. Change oil regularly. Dip your ijsknijper regularly in hot oil to prevent sticking, NEVER use water because then plop the oil from the pan and will burn!

The English: 15 degrees / Wind Today, the "Boxing Day". As "Boxing Day" is known in the UK and in many countries of the Commonwealth Boxing Day, also called St. Stephen. For the origin of the custom, there are several explanations: The "Boxing Day" are the servants handed over by their noble lordships gifts in boxes (box). Or, in churches has been specially collected for Christmas money (in a box), the day after the Arms have been distributed.

This event is also at the "Mar Menor" by many here as Englishmen celebrated charge.

Even the now cold water (7 degrees) holds they are not on it. Bravely trudge the players without a protective neoprene suits through the water.

The 2010 is drawing to a close. At the beach restaurant of the camp, as every year, a multi-course Silvestermahl served. The Mirador restaurant seems to be pretty booked up this year. We decided that our New Year's Eve dinner at the Pizzeria " pizzeria / Restaurante Romano II " to enjoy in Cabo de Palos.

We wish all a Happy New Year and the 2011 good luck, success, satisfaction and especially good health.
