Weather: very nice / Temp: 19 degrees / Wind: 2 to 5 HE
were actually predicted this morning, 4-5 HE wind. But first we wind with 2 to 3 HE still too unstable and too weak for surfing. We wait and watch the first few wind surfers in on their actions.
Meanwhile ausgeastet are the palm trees on our beach area by the garden workers belonging. It is downright light on the beach :-)
comes the afternoon, finally announced the strong wind with a mighty 5 letter from the northwest, and it builds up a great wave to about one meter high.
Although the wind is not too long lasting, we have a lot of fun.

Weather: cloudy to beautiful / Temp: 19 degrees / Wind: 0 to 1 letter
At night it rains from actually too light and the morning sky greets us first cloud-covered. We are once again in a border area of a not very active precipitation zone. Nature takes the little rain against gratefully, because there has been no large rainfall for months more.
awning Omnistor 8000
We first go from our sun awning, not to keep around the sun, but to get dry feet from the motorhome. For a year we are proud owners of the new "Omnistor 8000" because our old Omnistor awning "by gales by a gust of over 100 km / h has been destroyed. The new "Omnistor 8000" includes a new lock to prevent the collapse of the joint arms effectively, ie additional tie rods therefore really superfluous.
Unfortunately, the correct operation is not in the enclosed instructions, yet we had the dealer informed. Only much later we added another "Omnistor owners' handling of the new design explained. We have therefore created a quick guide which we hereby make available.
And now the good news: We need on the nice weather and not long be able to enter our mid-morning already Sonnen-/Regen-Markise again :-) This time of year the sun even in southern Spain is not so intense that you should protect yourself with sun awning in front.
Eugene and I use the wonderful afternoon for a bike ride along the peninsula, "La Manga".
Although the temperature is only 19 degrees in the shade increases, the same wind-protected on the sun terrace determined to 25 degrees. So we can enjoy the café in peace and do not need to freeze :-)
Camping at Mar Menor (E) (Thursday, 11/25/2010)
Weather: cloudy to overcast / Temp: 17 degrees / Wind: 1 Bf .
with mild 14 degrees, we start the new day. Reason for the relatively high temperatures east wind situation, the moist warm air from Africa is bringing to us. This makes it the first time downright hazy and foggy.
announces Meanwhile according to "Windguru" a veritable storm that will run through next Tuesday with us. Gusting up to 11 Bf are announced! If only gonna work out :-(
